DeLuca's Restaurant, situated in
Garrison Village approximately 15 minutes from us, is Tony Deluca's
recently opened "Bistro". Tony features farm to table cuisine with an
emphasis on seasonal availability and to quote, "Celebrates the rythm of the Seasons". The menu is
exciting and reasonably priced. We think it features Tony's elegant
cuisine at its best. Reservations definately.

|
The
Stone Road Grille owned and operated
by Perry and Heidi Johnson is another favourite "Bistro" style
restauraunt.
House made breads,
artisinal cheeses and seasonal, local fruit compliment their
ever-changing menus. Specializing in regional food with a classical
french influence and Niagara's
best wines. Prices are in the mid range - excellent value for the
quality of food and service. Reservations recommended.

This
is Tony Deluca's informal Italian
eatery. Tony was the Executive Chef with Hillebrand and together with
his business partner Monique they opened the Old Winery. The restaurant
features
a wood burning pizza oven, fresh pastas, daily fish dishes, good
vegetarian options and has an informal relaxed atmosphere. It is
reasonably priced and good value. Features an excellent patio and is an
excellent "drop-in' restaurant.

Catherine
O'Donnell is the Chef
Proprietor of Willow Cakes & Pastries. A top graduate from George
Brown College and previously of the King Edward Hotel, Toronto.
Cathy is dedicated to her art. Willow is a neat little cafe/patisserie
-
well worth dropping into for a great cup of coffee and a morning
croissant or an afternoon dessert. Cathy is a good pal and a
fabulous pastry chef!

The Olde Angel Inn
is the
oldest "Pub" in Ontario. The building dates shortly after the war of
1812 when the town was burnt by the retreating American army. It
is
the closest to a real British pub and the menu reflects this
tradition. Reasonably priced and the best fish and chips in
town
(pretty reasonable draft local beer as well). It is good value for good
hearty food and good friendly service - it is well used by the
locals. I always recommend foregoing
dessert and popping across the square to "Cows" ice cream parlour and
trying, arguably, one of the best ice creams in the country - they are
really excellent.
